#PleasingGod versus #PleasingPeople#
part 1
When a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7. I chose not to be a people pleaser when I understood what really matters. This choice may put you on the wrong side, making enemies along the way. However, understand what really matters. To please God is what really matter in all our ways to acknowledge Him. By having faith in Him, God is pleased.By being sure he exists and He rewards those who diligently seek Him, God is pleased. People Pleaser seeks to fit in the group. Always seeking approval and validation from others. When you say no to the struggle inside and chose to please God the competition cease. In God’s eyes you are the best, you are loved, you are valuable and you really matter to Him. Choose today. #Godpleaser# #peoplepleaser# Pastor Lucy Paynter ##PleasingGod versus #PleasingPeople#
part2
2Corinthians 2:15 For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who perish. Choosing to please God brings transformation in our thinking, acting, and decision making in all areas of our lives. We therefore become an aroma, the salt, the light to all people. Some situations may be very tempting to go with majority even if the conclusion doesn’t please God. But, whenever we weigh the options and chose what really matters we become an aroma to all. There may be repercussions for our choices but nothing can compare to the inner peace due to knowing we chose what really matters. Choose to please God the others will come around and say, “we see the light now.” Do not be afraid! #Godpleaser# #PeoplePleaser# Pastor Lucy Paynter

part 3
1 Samuel 15:13-15.
13When Samuel reached him, Saul said, “The Lord bless you! I have carried out the Lord’s instructions.”
14But Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of sheep in my ears? What is this lowing of cattle that I hear?”
15Saul answered, “The soldiers brought them from the Amalekites; they spared the best of the sheep and cattle to sacrifice to the Lordyour God, but we totally destroyed the rest.”
The dilemma of been torn between who to please does not only affect the ordinary people but also those with influence.
Saul was a king anointed of God and a man of war.He was a leader over Israel but also a commander of the armies.
The soldiers were his crowd, his buddies, When God gave instructions he gave them to Saul not to the armies. He therefore had a responsibility to please God by obeying his instructions.Instead the soldiers gave their opinions and reasoned with him unto why he should spare some things.Saul forgot what really matters and chose to please people.
That was the beginning of his downfall.
Whoever you are you are not immune to this struggle of who to please. But remember to choose what really matters.
