As we serve the Purposes of God in our Generation,  understanding the assignment is of great importance.

I pray that none will miss the mark. In the midst of busyness* as we serve the Lord, understand the assignment.
The What, the Why, the Where, the When and the How are questions that one needs to answer clearly as we serve.

King Saul messed up several times and missed the mark completely.

♧Then Saul admitted to Samuel, “Yes, I have sinned. I have disobeyed your instructions and the Lord’s command, for I was afraid of the people and did what they demanded.
1 Samuel 15:24 NLT

King Jehu in his short span understood his assignment and the Lord honored his family up to the fourth generation.

♧Nonetheless the Lord said to Jehu, “You have done well in following my instructions to destroy the family of Ahab. Therefore, your descendants will be kings of Israel down to the fourth generation.”
2 Kings 10:30 NLT

As we step out to serve the purposes of God,  first understand the assignment.
